A Salient Truth

You can't please everyone.

I know that you know this.

Everyone knows it.

We know it from our experience.

We know that it's impossible.

That it genuinely cannot be done.

So why do so many entrepreneurs (including me!) persist in pursuing it?

We let the possible reactions of people we can't please weigh us down and hold us back.

Knowing something but not acting upon it is stupid.

So knowing that you can't please everyone but then not using that knowledge to be bolder, less inhibited and doing better work for those you can please would be bonkers in the extreme, wouldn't it?

Forget the f****s that you can't please anyway.

Focus on the ones that could love you.
