When does the clock stops, answer is never. A salesperson never stops selling.
A lot of new sales rep misunderstand that once the contract is signed their job is over, it’s not it’s just started, a great sales deal is backed by greater customer service and that is biggest reason why great sales rep are GREAT. They remember the promises they made during their sales cycle, they don’t commit what their company cannot deliver, they don’t offer DISCOUNT to close the sale, they work through selling cycle with their value proposition and solutions that can solve problems for their customers.
Lesson 1: Don’t over commit, remember the promises you made during sales cycle, make sure you and your team delivers “what was promised” once deal is signed.
