Home Health - Reduce No-Shows By Broadcasting Available Home Visits
Handle the ever-increasing demand for care resources, enhance operational efficiency, and provide timely patient care with the new Broadcast option for home visits. Schedulers can now quickly and easily broadcast up to 50 home visits to three service regions in one go. Care resources with matching skills in those regions receive a notification about the visits on their Field Service Mobile app that they can choose to accept. Use the new Broadcast Home Healthcare Visit flow to optimize the complex scheduling process and provide a seamless broadcasting experience.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise and Unlimited editions in the Salesforce Field Service mobile app, with the Health Cloud and the Home Health add-on licenses.
Who: To use the mobile app, users need the Home Health Caregiver or the Home Health Clinician permission set license.
How: From the Object Manager, edit the page layout of Schedule Broadcast Appointment. From the Mobile & Lightning Actions menu, add the Accept Visit quick action to the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section of the page layout. Then, in the Field Service Mobile App Builder, add a tab for the Schedule Broadcast Appointment Resource list view.
Home Health - Promote Optimal Patient Health Outcomes With Dependent Home Visits
Schedulers can now create two dependent visits in one go for patients who require more complex home healthcare services. In dependent visits, two care resources provide different services to a patient at the same time, while focusing on care continuity and improved care quality.
Who: This feature is available to users with the Manage Home Health permission set license.
Why: Use the enhanced Schedule Home Healthcare Visit flow to automatically determine the number of care resources required for a patient’s service request. Depending on the resource count, the flow schedules either a single visit or two dependent visits for the same start time and assigns care resources having the required skills. This change helps schedulers save time, reduce manual effort, and stay on top of complex and multistage home visits.
How: From the App Launcher, go to the Field Service Admin app. Click Scheduling, select General Logic, and then select Enable complex work.
Home Health - Bundle Home Visits to Simplify Scheduling
Schedulers can now group the visits scheduled for multiple patients in nearby locations and with similar health conditions. The new Bundle Home Healthcare Visits flow bundles such patient visits into a group visit and assigns a single care resource to perform the visit. Group visits are easy to schedule, provide better tracking, improve patient experience, and reduce the costs for several health conditions. Compared with individual visits, care resources also save travel time and can handle the visits in any sequence.
Who: This feature is available to users with the Manage Home Health permission set license.
How: From the App Launcher, go to Appointment Bundle Policies and create a bundle policy for home visits.
Home Health - Easily Reschedule a Series of Recurring Home Visits
Reduce administrative delays and procedural hassles by empowering your schedulers to reschedule all subsequent recurring home visits at once. Use the enhanced Reschedule Home Healthcare Visit flow to reschedule recurring visits depending on a patient’s availability and preference.
Who: This feature is available to users with the Manage Home Health permission set license.

How: In the Lightning App Builder, place the Home Health Visits lightning component on the Person Account record page. From Setup, go to the Home Health Settings page and enable the latest version of the Reschedule Home Healthcare Visit flow.
Home Health - Cancel Home Visits in Bulk
Your schedulers can now cancel single or multiple upcoming visits if your care resources or patients can’t make it to their appointments on the scheduled date. This quick and effective way to cancel visits in bulk helps save time, minimize manual errors, and promote efficient resource utilization.
Who: This feature is available to users with the Manage Home Health permission set license.
How: In the Lightning App Builder, place the Home Health Visits lightning component on the Person Account record page.
Enrich the Provider Search Experience
Match patients to providers by using a more flexible and customizable Provider Search tool. By using Provider Search with Criteria-Based Search and Filter, you can configure custom search criteria, search result filters, and the search result display. You can also customize search result actions. Users can search across a richer set of data and initiate a referral flow directly from search results.
Who: This feature is available to users with the Criteria-Based Search and Filter permission set and either the Health Cloud Provider Relationship Management or Health Cloud Provider Search permission set.
How: If you don’t already use Provider Search, enable it. In Criteria-Based Search and Filter settings, create a search criteria configuration. Then add the Criteria Based Search and Filter component to a Lightning page.
Save Assessments as Drafts to Complete Later
Internal users like care coordinators and healthcare specialists can save drafts of assessments that they’re not ready to submit. Users can then easily find the draft assessments that are in progress and complete them at their convenience. The flexibility to save drafts prevents work from being lost if users must pause an assessment for any reason.
How: To save an assessment for later, click Save as Draft. To finish an assessment, click the action menu on an assessment in progress and select Continue.
Evaluate Assessment Scores
You can now evaluate assessment scores and track score changes over time. Assessment scoring provides you with insightful data, and empowers you to take preventative measures and timely actions to reach your goals more quickly. Use the new Response Value Score field in the Assessment Question Response object to assign a score to each response.
Who: This feature is available to users with the Industries Assessment permission set license.
How: Add the Response Value Score field to the Assessment Question Response page using the page layout editor. If you started using Discovery Framework after the Spring ‘24 release, you can skip this task.
