SALESFORCE OFFERS FREE VIRTUAL INTERNSHIP FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS

The American cloud-based software provider Salesforce, Inc. has its main office in San Francisco, California. It offers applications for e-commerce, analytics, artificial intelligence, sales, customer support, marketing automation, and application development.
Salesforce, which was founded in March 1999 by Marc Benioff, a former executive at Oracle, expanded rapidly and went public in 2004. Salesforce is valued at almost US$153 billion, making it the 61st largest company in the world by market capitalization as of September 2022. In 2022, it rose to become the biggest enterprise software company in the world. Salesforce generated $31,352 million in revenue and came in at number 491 on the Fortune 500 list for 2023. Salesforce has also been a part of the Dow Jones Industrial Average since 2020.
Concerning the Free Online Internship
1M1B A two-month internship centered on Green Skills and Climate Action for Green Campuses is being offered by Green Skills Academy in collaboration with the All India Council for Technical Education and with support from Salesforce. To be eligible for the internship program, participants must complete a quiz and a minitask after an orientation on Understanding Green Skills and the value of data for climate action. During the internship program, participants will receive technical training on professional software tools, knowledge sessions, and practice sets. They will also be given real-world projects to work on and execute. In addition to two academic credits, students who successfully finish the internship with at least 60 hours of work will receive a Completion Certificate.
Benefits
Students who successfully complete the internship will receive certificates that list the hours worked and credits they are eligible to receive from the relevant colleges or universities.
Top students will receive certification of merit, be acknowledged, and be invited to work as 1M1B Green Fellows, which is a contractual position with a stipend that lasts six to twelve months.
Students have the opportunity to work on live projects during their internship and implement them in colleges. Green economy professionals will serve as mentors and advisors to the students.
The interns who acquire the skills and information necessary to handle sustainability metrics will be prepared to fill the new positions centered on the green economy.
Conditions of Participation
An email invitation to a 60-minute introductory webinar will be sent to applications submitted via the AICTE internship portal. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted within five working days of attending the webinar and finishing the test. With live projects carried out on the campus of the relevant college or university, the internship is entirely remote. Students with an interest in sustainability and analytical abilities will be given preference. Following successful completion of the necessary tests, the chosen participants will receive an offer letter. The program will own any content produced during the internship.
