Salesdash CRM Testimonial: Diversified Transportation Services (Freight Brokerage)
Salesdash CRM is a simple CRM built for freight brokerages.
One of our customers, Diversified Transportation Services, was reached out to by a potential new customer of ours to learn about their experience with our CRM.
I was given permission from Matthew Meskin of DTS to share his feedback to this potential customer.
Their feedback is one of my proudest moments to date. Here were the questions asked, and their answers.
How long have you been utilizing Salesdash?
We have been using Salesdash for about 4 or 5 months now.
Did you have a CRM before?? If so, why the switch?
We had an offshore sales team that was utilizing the free version of Hubspot and we had our inside sales team on ACT!. We wanted to find a CRM where we could have our whole sales team on. We looked to Hubspot first since our team was familiar with it, but it was significantly more expensive, not as user friendly, and clunky in my opinion. We demoed some other CRMs, and I did quite a bit of research, but we ultimately decided on SalesDash due to it being freight focused, the price, and Josh’s background.
How many sales reps use the CRM?? Any feedback from them?
We have our carrier sales and our customer sales on the CRM. About 12 customer sales and 3 carrier sales at this point.
Our team has said it is the most user-friendly CRM they have ever used, which is huge.
We wanted the CRM to be a tool that would not only help them, but also be enjoyable for them to use. I truly think they think this with our 4+ months of using the platform.

Have you seen any noticeable ROI?
It is hard to judge the ROI, but just having our team more organized and having visibility into the information they are gathering on an account is huge. It makes our team more knowledgeable on the phone and gives the potential customer more of a warm and fuzzy feeling. Also, if you have any salespeople leave, you will have visibility into their work which is also huge.
How was the setup, integration and customization process overall?? How long until fully functional?
The great part about Salesdash is that it is easy to setup and easy to integrate. We created quite a few custom fields and groups that are specific to customer sales and targeting some of our inactive accounts, but that is quick and easy. It has an integration to Outlook, Gmail, ringcentral, zapier, and I think more. Importing our data took the longest, but Josh was very helpful and supportive through that process. I know he has talked about TMS integrations as well, but we haven’t done that as of right now.
Are you happy with customer support?
Josh is our main POC. Whenever we have an issue, he responds within the hour and by the end of the day we usually hear back with a solution. So many times, we have received customer service from people who are not helpful and just send us to an article. Josh is helpful, knowledgeable and will work to fix the issue with his dev team if you encounter any issues.
Most beneficial feature?
The user friendliness of the account/contact/deal screen. You can easily schedule tasks, write notes, and stay on top of your conversations. This helps our team be more productive and more knowledgeable on the phone for conversations 2, 3, 4…
Any gaps or shortcomings with the CRM you have noticed?
I have not noticed any gaps within the CRM. If you are looking for a CRM that has more product offerings like a marketing suite, operations suite, etc, you may want to look at one that can do it all for you, but that will be significantly more expensive and seems to be for bigger organizations.
Would you recommend?
I highly recommend Salesdash and highly recommend Josh. With his leadership of the company, I truly believe sky is the limit and can’t wait to see what new features they develop.
