In Sales, You Have to Show Up

My formative years of K-Grade 12 were spent in New Brunswick.? 11-years were spent in Rothesay, a bedroom community of Saint John, so anytime I hear good news about the Saint John region, it fills me with pride.? I encourage everyone to visit this wonderful city and the province of New Brunswick.?

Reading Sam Farley's article, The man who sells New Brunswick | CBC News, Neil Hodge's words above jumped right off the screen.? We can all learn from Neil’s success in having Saint John, NB listed on CNN’s Best travel destinations to visit in 2024 | CNN.?

In sales, you must show up.? Your target market must know you, your face, your company, and the outcomes they achieve with your offering(s).?? You must have a presence in their world. ?

There is more to sales than just showing up, and maybe I will share my thoughts about other stages in the future, but first, show up, so your market knows who you are, and thinks of you when the time is right.
