Q: I’ve been burned hiring salespeople in the past. How can I make sure the performance matches the hype?

A: I’m a big believer in using pre-hiring assessments to help me understand the innate behaviors of a candidate, which are closely connected to their success in a specific role. I use Sales Genomix, which is very good for the price ($250.00), but there are others that do a great job as well. Use the results of the assessment to spot areas for training and support or to determine a misalignment of fit for the role.
