Sales training doesn't work

You know all those training sessions you attend Pete?

You know they don't?work right?

How do I know?

Because I've seen it many times in the real world,?100+ times with the world's biggest brands and many more individuals.

You can do all the training in the world, seldom a team or individual will respond and when they do its only short term?(despite our ego believing it was the BEST TRAINING ever).?

This might explain why?so many keep on doing course after course, FREE challenge after another and stay a complete beginner, not even being able to get one client.

Sound familiar?

So the big question,?what does work?

I'm glad you asked...

2 areas:

1) Systems

2) Extreme accountability on these systems

“We rarely rise to our goals, but often fall to our systems”.

Here's why:

I'm 99.7% certain whenever you do any sales training you:

- Don't implement the training (even when the training is implementation based)?

Or worse (and I hear this all too often), you 'change a bit here and there'.

In other words,?you?break?the system before you've succeeded with the system.

This is why I'm not the kind of?'sales trainer'?or *cough, coach... Who's interested in you building a business in your way.

I'm extremely methodical with my clients, I'm fussy as hell in implementing the exact system that works.

Win with the system first, then sure make it your own.

Until then, do it the EXACT way I teach?(I know this goes against what most mentors and coaches believe in, but I don't care, I'm here to help you get a result).?

Anyway.

Sales is a system more than it is a mindset.

Follow the system even with a poor mindset, you'll still succeed (and yes this goes way deeper because you still need good tone of voice, to genuinely care about your client etc).

But,?have the best mindset in the world but don't want to follow a system, this is why so many still struggle.

Believe me, I've met MANY more who have an excellent mindset but can't make money =?Not following a system.

Than I have those with an imperfect mindset but they're banking serious money every day because =?They follow an exact system.

End of the day, what would you say to your clients with your expertise when they're NOT succeeding but they say:

"Oh, I just made your system my own though?"

Caring about your client means keeping your client highly accountable.

This is the conversation we need to be having more on social media, not the one track narrative of:

"Build a business in a way you love".

Am I against this narrative?

Of course not, I'm all for building a business on?YOUR EXACT TERMS and I love everything mindset, but not at the cost of what works.

And most have ZERO freedom in their business because a coach is telling them 'oh, it's okay, do it your way'

Yeah - The reason why they need a coach is because their way isn't working ??♂?.

Systems over training.

Proven methods over mindset.

Prove me wrong and I'll give you a cookie.

Better still, prove me right and follow an exact system and buy all the cookies you've ever wanted.

The route to freedom is systems and accountability.?

The reality for most who seek freedom,?create their own prison.

Systems + mindset = Ultimate solution.
