Recently, I again stumbled upon the Switches techniques in Sales. I am sure you must have heard about it too. These always serves as a good refresher for all the Sales people out there
- The Solution Switch - You've have probably heard it before, that people don't buy products/services... they buy solutions. Showing that what you are offering is the SOLUTION to your client is the key. Ensure that your product or services is solving a pain point in your client's or audiences life
- The Trust Switch - People build trust faster when they know that they're buying from someone who's legit. Positioning yourself as an authority figure in your industry or niche helps to build the Trust easily and effortlessly
- The Likability Switch - They say people buy from people who they LIKE. Building connections with your clients at the unconscious level helps you activate this switch specially when your client sees and feels that you truly want to help them
- The Evidence Switch - People want proof not promises. Sharing testimonials and social proof reassures clients/buyers their investments is going to pay off. Having testimonials and google review works in your favor
- The Emotional Switch - This is one of my favorite as I usually teach this in my Sales training. Buying is an emotional Act, people buy based on emotions and then later on justify with logic. Stories sell and Facts tell - You really have to sell stories to touch their emotion and make them feel by showing them the impact/transformation your product/service will give them
Having a solid Sales strategy is very important and ensuring that you are consistently addressing these points.
What 'Switch' do you usually use and which one you struggle with. Let me know in your comments

1 年Wow, this sounds interesting! I usually rely on the relationship-building switch, but I struggle with the negotiation switch. Any tips?
