During our chat, Kristen shared her passion for building authentic relationships in sales, her insights on leveraging community for growth, and why embracing AI is no longer optional for success.


What sparked your initial interest in Salesforce, and how has that shaped your career?

My Salesforce journey began when I was a marketing assistant. During my interview, they asked if I had Salesforce experience. I didn’t—but as soon as I logged in on day one, I was hooked. The reporting, dashboards, and data accessibility felt like having a superpower.

That excitement drove me to explore deeper. I immersed myself in the platform, eventually transitioning into sales ops, and now, account management. Each step has been a mix of challenges and growth, and I credit the incredible Salesforce ecosystem for keeping that spark alive.

How has being part of the Salesblazer Community impacted your career?

The Salesblazer Community has transformed me from a consumer of knowledge to a contributor, giving me leadership and mentorship experience that's been incredibly rewarding.? I’ve also had the opportunity to meet so many talented and inspiring people, many of whom I deeply respect.

A personal milestone was attending Dreamforce for the first time after eight years of dreaming about it. The support, camaraderie, and learning opportunities I’ve found through Salesblazers have shaped my career and enriched my life in ways I couldn’t have imagined.?

What inspired you to take on a leadership role in the Salesblazer Community?

This community has given me so much, and I want to pay it forward. Sales can be challenging, but a strong support system changes everything. If I can help even one sales professional—whether it’s offering advice, sharing feedback, or just being someone they can talk to—I want to seize that opportunity to serve.

Can you share a memorable story that exemplifies the community’s impact?

My first Dreamforce was unforgettable. I arrived early to pick up my badge and found myself with hours to spare before the doors opened. I wandered over to a Salesblazers breakfast event but quickly realized they were still setting up. Feeling a bit out of place, I thought about leaving. Fortunately, as I was walking out the door, a Salesforce team member struck up a warm conversation, making me feel like I belonged.

In that moment, I felt like I had found my “home.” As other Salesblazers arrived, I was able to recognize them from our conversations online. I was so grateful to meet them in person! Whether it’s Dreamforce or another Salesforce event, the moment I see those teal hoodies, I know I’m with my people. That sense of belonging keeps growing.

What advice do you have for someone new to Salesforce or sales in general?

Tap into the incredible resources at your disposal. Start by mastering the basics and stay curious. Trailhead, Salesblazer Slack channels, and certifications are just the beginning. Don’t underestimate your experiences—use them as a foundation to build confidence.

What’s your bold prediction for the future of sales?

AI is about to revolutionize sales—and sales professionals who embrace it will thrive. Integrating AI into workflows won’t just be an advantage, it will be essential. Whether it’s automating lead qualification or personalizing outreach, AI will redefine how we work.
