The sales industry is a hard industry to comprehend. Sales companies vary and teach different skills. This can either help or hurt the reputation of the industry itself, and we are here to set the story straight about the ins and out of our company.

When you look at “sales” in general you most likely think of someone who is pushy, could be scamming, possibly involved in a pyramid scheme. We have heard it all, and we have answered multiple questions about it. With our company, we have a structured program for our promotional positions. Individuals hear program, and think pyramid scheme. It truly is a “pyramid”, in the aspect that there is base building blocks that lead up to the top of the promotional plan.

When it comes to door to door sales mentality, who you work for determines the strategies of the company. If your company is selling their own products, there might be more of a push for commission without other opportunities. When someone is relying on a certain niche with a certain product, such as car salesmen, the money they receive is based on their product. A car salesman could only sell one car for 3 weeks, and they would have to stretch out their commission based off of those odds. With our business, even though it is commission based, we are giving our employees a number of opportunities to have multiple sales a day. This doesn’t mean we always have multiple sales, but the ability is available.

Alpha works under clients, therefore, we are middle men in the system. Our service is to provide the best deals for your product. We aren’t selling you products necessarily, we are selling lower prices for the products you already obtain.

In any industry, a company is selling you something. If you work in customer service you are a sales representative. You can be selling your personality, your skills, your companies service, or a product. You will always be in sales, the difference is if you are in a labeled sales industry or not. Sales should be more accepted and recognized instead of having a stigma behind the label. Let’s all be more aware of the way sales are present in all industries.
