I hate to break it to you, but sales is not a profession.
There are no entry requirements, no certifications, no oaths, & no barriers to entry. There isn't a governing body, there's a lack of a system and a lack of consequences for people who use manipulative and gross tactics, & there aren't really any consequences if you do it wrong.
