Calm down! I can imagine how much you despised marketing..
Just like you, I hated marketing so much.
After secondary school, I started a marketing job. It was a physical one that required me to meet new people everyday talking about the company's products and giving them reasons to buy..
Amongst my team members I was one of the best and fluent, my colleagues would say “you this girl, you are too clean for this job".
But then when we go out for marketing they will be so surprised how much of a strong woman I could be. According to people, I gave this “Ajebota" (soft girl) look.
One reason I vowed never to do anything marketing was because I found it way stressful and draining, In which after everything, you will be given peanuts even after the sun and rain…
Now that I'm here today, I'm glad one could exercise marketing way easier than I thought.
Over the years I have come across different people who despise marketing and see it as a threat, some would quickly say ‘I'm a shy person, I cannot convince people’.
Just like I will explain, you are not persuading people, you are going to communicate via your content and this makes trusting you become easier.
Marketing begins with your content.
To fund your dream lifestyle, whatever you are settling for, know you can't run away from marketing.
Marketing bores sales, bores results, bores recognition.
When you understand the phase of business you are into, marketing would not be a problem..
When it comes to marketing, there are 4ps to consider, which is
? Product

? Place
? Price
? Promotion
Product: This has to do with whatever product you are bringing or establishing into the market, let it be one that your target audience needs and is in dire demand. Don't introduce a product out of presumption, consider the people.
Place: your geographical zone matters, environment.
In this case your business environment contributes to your success. Let it be somewhere accessible to your consumers. It shouldn't fit your standard only but it should be flexible for your consumers.
Price: This is where I say, know your audience income, to avoid selling to the wrong people. Know their income, that will indicate your pricing to help fit their interest and capacity. That shows how much you take them to heart.
Promotion: This is where many fail. You can't have a product or service and expect it to sell itself. You have to invest in channels to distribute this business you instated. Leverage Technological tools, put in more effort into distribution channels and ensure your promotion goes directly to where your audience spends most of their time at…
In all this, there's one key word here “target Audience" they are the forefront and focus, and should be put in first off..
Knowing your target audience will help you understand the direction to aim at..
