About the Role:

Our client, a prestigious luxury hotel in Toronto, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a passionate hospitality professional with a proven track record in driving revenue and exceeding sales goals. This is an on-property position, where you will be directly involved in the day-to-day operations of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Generation: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy, including room sales, group business, and catering events.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel agencies, and corporate accounts.
  • Sales Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure optimal performance.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify opportunities and challenges, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute successful events, ensuring seamless coordination and client satisfaction.
  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare accurate and timely sales reports and forecasts to track performance and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions, promoting the brand and building relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in luxury hotel sales, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
  • Strong understanding of the luxury hospitality market in Toronto.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in sales and CRM software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
