Every sales person and sales leader on the planet is constantly looking for an edge - an edge on how to improve their conversion rate, how to increase their revenue per customer, and how to make it more enticing for a prospective customer to be interested. Whilst some elements of sales remain timeless, there are components of the sales game which have evolved over the years, and with the continued evolution of technology, the ability for organisations to more quickly connect with their prospective customers, has ramped up significantly. So has the level of knowledge and resourcefulness of customers, to the point where prospective customers are conducting research on organisations and on their sales people, before considering any engagement.
The universal obsession with social media has both helped and hindered sales organisations around the world. Whilst some organisations continue with the 'tried and true' sales processes that have worked for decades, many others are taking full advantage of social media to better equip their sales teams, and create value based conversations with their customers and prospective customers.

Jamie invented the term 'Social Selling', and through his organisation Sales For Life, has trained over 250,000 sales people and sales leaders around the world on how to effectively utilise social media in their sales campaigns.
