SALES IS THE HOLY GRAIL

Selling is the most important thing needed for any business to survive and thrive yet, it is ignored by a lot of entrepreneurs and business leaders.

Oftentimes, you go to a meeting and 9 out of 10 companies combine both the Sales and Marketing functions without a clear distinction of both.

Another thing you will see in these companies is that even though they often generate 100s of leads on a daily basis, most of them are lost because no one is taking full responsibility for these leads which in itself is disappointing.

Before we explore further on this issue, it’s vital that you know that as an entrepreneur, if you don’t prioritize sales in your organization, you are going to lose in the long run.

Think about this for a moment;

1. If you want to recruit more people to your organization, you want revenue, and to get the revenue, you need sales.

2. If you want to buy assets, you need revenue and to get the revenue, you have to sell.

3. If you to......., you get the point, right?

Anything you need in your organization and personal life is directly tied to selling.

What baffles us however is how entrepreneurs neglect this all-important business function.

They don’t train their people, they don’t invest in materials to make their teams sell better.
