V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking Sales Director - Amazon Business premier client in Oak Brook, Illinois. This is a contract position in Perimeter Access industry.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Education and Experience ?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications; Master’s or MBA preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of sales experience including 3 years of supervisory and direct account responsibility
- Must have experience selling consumer products to clients such as Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, and Lowe’s
- Experience with Amazon’s vendor platforms AMG and AMS
- Ability to travel up to 30% of time
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ?
- Drives continuous improvement of the sales process by collaborating with key stakeholders to understand the sales cycle, identify inconsistencies and bottlenecks, and implement changes.
- Maintains a high level of customer service by incorporating Client Group values and quality concepts in customer communications, resolution of issues and continuous improvement of customer support functions.
- Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, onboarding, recruiting and retaining team members.
- Drive the performance management process by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies.
- Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications.
- Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the Client mission, vision and values.
- Protect Client reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
- Controls supplies and stock by timely planning the correct quantity of parts, while at the same time Develops targeted business processes that enhance product positioning and market share by developing strategies that leverage the breath of product offerings.
- Provides strategic leadership by identifying areas of strength/opportunity based upon business analytics.
- Achieves sales standards and gross profit targets by developing strategic plans based upon account performance, people performance, sales analytics and competitive trends.
