Randy's Tips to Sell More??? Excerpts from?Your Go-To Sales Advisor
Those of you who know me personally know I have always been a big believer in goal setting. Each year I take some time to reflect on how I did against my goals from the previous year, and write down my goals for the upcoming year.
I put a big emphasis on physically writing them down as a way to get it on paper to visualize each goal and hold myself accountable to what I want to accomplish in the upcoming 12-months.
Below are my full goals for 2022. I know this is a lot but over the years I've shared my goals with my team when I had corporate jobs and was always surprised by the number of folks that took it to hear.
Mission Statement: TO LIVE AN AUTHENTIC LIFE THAT GOD, MY FAMILY, AND I CAN BE PROUD OF....be happy, do what I want to do, be present, and live in the moment!
POSITIVE OUTLOOK- I wake up positive every day, lead a balanced life, make a difference in the world, love, make money, and have fun by passionately:
- Focusing on my family relationships, my spirituality, and God
- Eating healthy, drink water, exercise, sports, avoid toxins, sleep 7-8 hours, vitamins
- Excelling and developing professionally, aspirational goal to be similar to Bill Campbell, RIP
- Proactively managing my network
- Financially improving
- Helping/developing my family, friends, colleagues, and strangers; encourage paying it forward?
- Mental stimulation and development
- Reviewing goals/accomplishments furthering my belief in goals becoming reality
- Planning ahead to live life to the fullest so I get/give the most each day
- Surrounding myself with people I like, trust, respect, can learn from, and align with
- Treating others how I want to be treated
- Focus on my priority to dos in the morning
- In case of adversity, believe I can-I will-I must!
- "Happy to do it"
Then I can look down my road with confidence, look back with pride, without regret. I will always be my best self, but be myself.

2021 YEAR REVIEW AND 2022 PLAN (I’ve done on my own and suggest you consider a similar exercise):
- What have I learned about myself last year?
- What was hard for me last year??
- What did I like most about last year??
- How did I surprise myself last year??
- What do I want more of this year??
- What would I like to be different or have less of this year??
Long Form last year/this year:
- Sit in a quiet place, simply breathe for a few minutes first, allowing my shoulders, my jaw, and any other places of tension in my body to relax. Think about what stands out from last year, just breathe and let the answers take what time they need to come:?
- What worked best for me last year?
- What were my top three lessons learned??
- What personal and professional qualities did I develop??
- What were my biggest wins and challenges??
- What would I love to let go of??
- What activities had me jumping out of bed in the morning??
- What kind of people did I love being around??
- What conversations left me feeling most fully myself??
- What am I proudest of achieving??
Now think about this year:
- What would I like this coming year to be about, what will be my theme for the year??
- What personal and professional qualities do I want to develop?
- Who do I need help from to achieve these goals??
- Next year, how will I finish this sentence?
Thank you all again for subscribing, on to a big 2022!
