Measure and Inspect These Areas to Accelerate the Best Partnering

  • Partners can be ISVs, SIs, VARs, solutions provider, complementary vendors, consultants, analysts, etc.
  • You can also read more about partnering in the AB Best Practice section from Dave Casillo, Frank Rauch, and Aaron Mills.
  • Leverage partners to sell more everywhere.
  • You can map and align partners by account, rep, geography, vertical, segment, etc.
  • Make sure they make good money.
  • If you agree to partner, don’t change partners or go direct without very good reason.
  • Help them as needed.
  • Do joint sales calls.
  • Grade partners as you would your own sales team.
  • Listen to feedback and adjust.
  • Create win-win situations.

VIP: Indirect selling through and with partners is needed to get as much reach as possible.?
