Accommodation
Our suites are individually designed, they vary from containing 11-foot windows and antique four-poster beds to clawfoot tubs. Each room is sure to captivate and entrance you and will be an experience all within itself. At our boutique hotel we also have a separate Carriage House with three bedrooms and two baths, dining room, Viking Kitchen and vaulted ceilings in the living room. All this will give you extra privacy if needed. We pride ourselves in our luxurious presence while maintaining personal touches and ensuring each guest enjoys every moment of their stay.

The Major J. Morris Bivings Carriage House is a 2000 sq.ft. private getaway. The Carriage House Suite has two bedrooms (one King and one Queen), an office with a twin sofa bed, two baths (one with whirlpool tub one with walk-in glass shower), full dining room and great room with full kitchen and laundry.

It was the home to The Allman Brothers Band's original members, their families, and various friends from 1970 to 1973. The Big House was renovated by The Big House Foundation and opened in November 2009 as an interactive museum dedicated to identifying and preserving the history of The Allman Brothers Band.
Occmulgee Indian Mounds
Welcome to Ocmulgee National Monument. This park is a prehistoric Native American site. Native Americans first came here during the Paleo-Indian period hunting Ice Age mammals. Different cultures occupied this land for thousands of years. The Mississippian culture arrived here around 900 constructing mounds for their elite. Today the mounds still remain for all to see.
