Saksham Cycle Rally in Katihar

With this thought, A cycle rally has been conducted at Sirsa Chowk, Katihar on 09.02.2020 in which a total of 250+ school going students have participated with great enthusiasm and energy. This rally was organized by Indian Oil Corporation Limited under the initiative of Saksham with the support of PCRA( Petroleum Conservation Research Association). The main agenda of this rally was to spread the awareness between the growing crops of the nation about the conservation of petroleum products and the diligent use of the non-renewable source of energy so that we leave a better future for the upcoming generations. Apart from that we also made them aware of the health benefits of riding a bicycle. In this program we have also conducted a quiz, where we asked questions regarding LPG, Petroleum products and Energy saving and the answers given by the students were amazing, they also suggested some better idea about saving energy and fuel. We have also conducted a pledge regarding the diligent use of petroleum products.

This rally was organized with the help of Cycle Association, Patna and their local support and PCRA. The chief guest of this rally was MLA Katihar, Shree Tarkishor Prasad who flagged off the rally.
