Recently, I had the privilege of embarking on a spiritual journey to Varanasi and Ayodhya – two cities soaked in devotion, history, and mysticism. My visit to Lord Kashi Vishwanath (one of the 12 Jyotirlingas), Kasi Visalakshi Devi (one of the 51 Shaktipeeths), Sankat Mochan, Kalabhairav in Varanasi, and the divine darshan of Lord Sri Rama in Ayodhya left me with a profound sense of gratitude. It was not just the holy places that touched my soul, but also the surreal experiences that came with them, reminding me of the deep connections we share with life, people, and the universe.
One of the most moving parts of this trip was the “Sparsh Darshan” of Lord Vishwanath, where I felt an indescribable sense of peace and connection. Similarly, the up-close darshan of Lord Sri Rama in Ayodhya filled me with immense reverence, making me realize how divine energy flows through every moment of life.
What truly made this journey special were the friends who helped me get there. They ensured I experienced the best of both cities and shared these magical moments with me. Their support was a living reminder of how essential collaboration is – not just in our personal lives but also in our professional journeys. Just as friendships sustain us through life’s ups and downs, the ability to collaborate in any endeavor is crucial for meaningful success.
One of the most breathtaking moments came as I sailed down the sacred River Ganga during one evening. As the sun set, the riverbanks told their own stories. Some ghats glowed with orange flames from burning pyres, offering a poignant reminder of life’s fleeting nature. Others resonated with the sound of disciples offering evening prayers. And then, there was the Ganga Aarti – a mesmerizing ritual that stirred something deep within me. Watching the priests, so passionately synchronized, reminded me of the power of creativity – how we humans express the sacred and the extraordinary through rituals, art, and ceremony.

?As I watched the dance of life unfold on the riverbank, I found myself reflecting on the uncertainties of life and how, like the flowing Ganga, we must adapt, critically think, and embrace the unexpected. Life has a way of presenting us with challenges, but through critical thinking and resilience, we continue forward, carrying our past experiences while embracing the present.
This trip was a reminder to celebrate these moments and the people who make them possible. Friendships are sacred, just as much as the temples we visit. They teach us to communicate openly, nurture relationships, and give back to those who have shared their kindness with us. Communication – whether it's through words, gestures, or actions – is at the heart of all meaningful connections, both in life and work.
As I return from this trip, I carry not just memories of darshans and rituals but a renewed sense of purpose. Each day is a blessing, and each moment, like the evening on the Ganga, is a reminder of the surreal beauty in life. Whether it’s at a ghat, in the company of friends, or in our everyday routines, let’s take a moment to appreciate the gift of today.
To everyone who helped me on this journey - thank you from the bottom of my heart. And to all those navigating life’s journey – remember the 4Cs: “Creativity, Critical Thinking, Communication and Collaboration”. Whether in our personal lives or our professional roles, they are the compass that can guide us to more meaningful experiences.
