It got cold just in time for the ALCS and NLCS to heat up in NY this week, but never too cold to catch the random sail on the Hudson. As busy as NY is, always love these images of those looking at the island from Henry's river...keep sailing on. The initial five-year partnership between FIS and the World Meteorological Organization aims to help national ski federations, venues and race organizers better understand weather forecasting to manage natural and artificial snow. In a joint statement, the orgs said "winter sports and tourism face a bleak future because of climate change" and warmer temperatures.
