They said it was a miracle...

This week has been an incredible week and I had to share this with you for two reasons...
1: Because I am so happy I want to shout out from the rooftops.
And...
2: Because the lesson for all of of us is huge and must not be missed.
So with that said, let me give you the back story...
In November of last year I was given the devastating news that my Mum had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and the situation was deemed to be terminal.
Six months was the timeline that was handed to my Mum and that was 3.5 months ago.
Fast forward to a couple of days ago and I finally got to have the conversation with my Mum where I was going to find out the result of her treatment.
Now here's the thing, ever since my Mum first found out about her cancer, that it was inoperable and that she most likely had 6 months left to live well, she refused to buy into it!
She made a decision that she would try chemotherapy but if it made her feel worse and she wasn't getting any result, she had decided that she would stop her treatment and live out what time she had left in as healthy a state as possible.
In other words, she wanted to live her life as fully as possible no matter what.
Once the decision had been made she had also made up her mind that she would spend her time doing things that make her happy, she would avoid stress, she would invest more of her time working with others to help them and instead of stepping off the gas, she put her foot to floor and went for it!
Some might think that's a weird thing to do but you know what?... All the time she was thinking of others, she wasn't thinking about her own challenges, and she had a real purpose that was bigger than herself which kept her going.
Result... Three and a half months from her damning diagnosis and even more gloomy prognosis, the tumour has reduced in size by 6mm all around and she has put 1kg back on in bodyweight.
The doctors are calling it a miracle and have also added that with continued treatment, they might be able to keep it where it is and Mum will enjoy many more healthy years to come. The worse scenario comes out at much more time than we originally thought, and if that's all it does turn out to be, I'm really grateful for that.
So what does all of this mean for you?
Well, it has been scientifically proven that over a period of about 2 years, your body regenerates itself entirely, which means that in 2 years from now, you won't be the same as you are now. And it's also been proven that every cell in your body reacts according to your thoughts and beliefs...
... Might sound strange but it's true.
Now here's the thing, a lot of research has shown that cancer is linked to stress, anger, depression and all of that horrible stuff but I'm here to tell you that if stress, anger, depression etc are the building blocks that support your life right now, and perhaps affecting the nature of the cells in your body in a negative way , you can change.
Look at it this way, if I knocked down a house in front of you and all you were left with was a pile of bricks, then I gave you the original plan to the house that I had demolished and told you to rebuild it according to those plans, what would happen?
Yep, that's right... You'd end up with exactly the same house right?
But what about if I gave you the plans to a different style of house?... You'd end up with an entirely different property once you'd rebuilt it.
And so it is with your body.
Fill yourself with happiness, love, a passion for helping others an unwavering faith in yourself and you can move mountains my friend, and what's more...
... You can heal a sick body.
My Mum has been the epitome of everything I have ever believed in and has shown a strength of character that I didn't know she had to that level. I am extremely proud of her, she is a very special lady and I am so glad to be her son.
Point is, whether it is cancer or something else that comes along in your life that has the potential for acing your future, know that you do have the capability to reverse the situation and just because someone says you've got 6 months to go, don't buy into that notion or you know what, you'll get just about 6 months, I have seen this happen to others in my family and I'm sure you've been touched in a similar way too.
So step up, be the best version of you regardless of the challenge facing you and if life pushes you, push it the hell back!
I'm sorry for the length of this message but I had to get this off my chest.
Until next time, I wish you health, wealth and happiness...
Namaste
