SAge Complete (Sage Intacct in SA)
Last week was the official launch of Sage Intacct in South Africa. Due to COVID-19, all events were conducted through virtual channels. For most launches, this would be an issue...however Sage Intacct (Internet Accounting) is cloud native, so this type of launch was very apt. It was also a gentle reminder to businesses that being in the cloud is no longer negotiable (traditional legacy solutions being harder / impossible to support).
So why such hype?
In their own words: "Sage Intacct has been an innovative leader in the cloud financial management and accounting space for more than a decade" . And given the list of awards Sage Intacct has racked up, they are probably being slightly humble. And Gartner just rated Sage Intacct top for financials in their key market (finance professionals in medium sized business):
Besides all the awards, there are 4 main drivers for why you should invest in Sage Intacct:
- Built for finance professionals by finance professionals
- Scalable - will grow with your business
- True cloud (not a kite that looks like a cloud)
- Customer come first &1st (and now eerste) - independent reviews by existing users (and customers satisfaction awards show these are taken seriously)
"Sage Intacct’s multi-tenant foundation brings robust technology infrastructure to your organization, without the high costs, maintenance, or complexity that would be involved with an on-premises solution" (Sage Intacct)
But is it Ayoba?
South Africa is the 5th country that Sage Intacct has been rolled out to. The global expansion is going faster than expected due to heavy investment by Sage in Sage Business Cloud (in particular, these services):
- Banking Service (Bank feeds);
- Payments Service (Payments Out) and
- Compliance Service (Regulatory reports & Government submissions)
This has made Sage Intacct expansion a "plug & play" model and coupled with Sage's strong presence in South Africa, these critical services are well known and supported, which will lead to faster implementation and reliance. In addition, South Africa has a strong business partner network and Sage has brought onboard a number of partners to fast track Sage Intacct growth.
Notably AWCape is one of only 12 certified VARs (value-added resellers) available to support customers with sales and implementation and many of our existing customers have been very impressed with the brief demos they have seen.
South Africa is still in the grips of COVID-19 and the effects on the economy will be dire. Every organisation will need to reevaluate how they do business, a "complete", cloud based financial system with 20 years of experience...will be central to that success.
But don't take my (biased :) ) word for it, see what these Sage Intacct customers have benefited.
"Boosts efficiency by 75%"
Saved $100,000 annually"
$800,000 worth of time-savings"
