Connected Confined Space Management

VISICS - Safe and Efficient Turnarounds are doing some awesome things in the confined space entry management space - basically they leverage IoT sensors, cameras and access controls systems to manage and monitor up to dozens of confined space entry points simultaneously. I've researched this tech and had demo's from Stephen Chesterman who manages Visics here in Australia but it is authentic case studies that really showcase the benefits... The Singapore MoM Mandates the Use of Surveillance Tech on Construction Sites

This is an equally interesting and contentious piece of news - for the tech optimists it's a massive win, for the pessimists it's a bit of a disaster... for those of us seeking to implement responsible innovation; it's definitely a double-edged sword scenario begging for guidance and stewardship. So in short, from June 2024, all construction sites in Singapore with a project value of $5 million and above are required to install video surveillance system (VSS) at worksite locations where there are high-risk work activities.
