Safety Tips while Driving in the Rain
It is always safe to check your headlights and wipers before the rain hits because they are the ones that are often put to use when there is a heavy downpour.
It is good to maintain a safe distance from other vehicles even if you are driving while it is raining. Ensure you keep a safe distance from the cars ahead, especially if they are large trucks. This is because the water that they spray with the large wheels is enough to blur your vision and make you lose control of the wheels.
It is also important to equip yourself with the necessities; necessary equipment such as umbrella, waterproof footwear, torchlight, and raincoat should always be available in your car because they would help you get out of a tense situation while you are stuck midway due to the heavy downpour. So, precautionary measures should be taken during rainy season.
