Cal/OSHA Enhances Investigative Efforts: Cal/OSHA has increased staffing for its Bureau of Investigations to tackle serious workplace injuries and fatalities, aiming to hold negligent employers accountable.

New Hires Across California: Since July, nine new positions, including a Chief Investigator, have been filled in various offices statewide, with more hires planned.

Focus on Criminal Prosecutions: The Bureau’s expanded resources will help focus on criminal responsibility in workplace accidents, emphasizing the importance of workplace safety and health.
