Construction company convicted after worker fall from height.

The VIC company was found guilty of one charge of failing to provide a safe workplace.

The dogman, a labour hire worker, was instructed to assist in lifting and moving materials to an area that was deemed an exclusion zone. The worker expressed concerns about working in the area which had a number of unprotected edges which were dismissed. LINK

Warehouse worker fatality during movement of stone slabs leads to conviction.

A Sydney worker suffered fatal injuries after being partially crushed under two stone slabs weighing approx. 315kgs each. An overhead crane was used to move the stone slabs which were stored on a frame without any means of restraint. LINK
