Safe

Consultant, Coach & Advisor- A healthier version of you is waiting.
Have loyalty for your legacy. We don't think about that. We think in terms of being loyal to our spouse, job and friends. But what about you, your energy? It is the foundation that spills over into every aspect in your life. Because the relationship that you have with yourself, is going to dictate?everything else in your life. So we should act with intention.
What do you deserve? Can you manifest it without being deceitful? Can you be kind and gracious while you pursue?your goals and dreams? Can you clap for others, when you are not in a winning season yourself? This life is your legacy. And while I don't particularly?care if I am remembered or not. I do care about casting a net of love and compassion while I walk the earth.?
So what are we really talking about here? We're talking about being safe. Feeling safe is by far a much needed skill that will serve not only you, but all that you come in contact with. And you will know these people just by walking in their presence. They don't gossip or criticize. They lift people up. They are humble by nature and often find solace in solitude. In an era when everyone is trying to be insta-famous, the "Safes" are the real influencers.?
For me, the real currency is quiet. I live a busy life. I make good money and am blessed to sit at some pretty impressive tables. But the real blessing is having a conversation with my wife, without having to talk. She is my "Safe." Being able to contribute to charities that are making a difference. They are "Safe." Running a crisis response?team during the day. We are "Safe."?
I am loyal to a lot of things. And all of them are love driven. That's what makes sense to me. As far as my legacy? While there are plenty of people who are alive because of me, the best part about that is most don't even know my name. They just know that someone cared. And maybe that may be enough to get them thinking in terms of energy too. And that maybe one day, they too will be "Safe" for the next?person in need. Including themselves.?

1 年Thank you for sharing. This is lovely and so truthful. It’s something important to me - bringing/being safety FOR others because I’ve needed so much to find safety IN others… You’ve articulated it so well. Appreciate your heart.
