Safe Spaces with Duro

In today’s world, the spaces we inhabit matter more than ever. From the air we breathe to the materials surrounding us, every detail contributes to our well-being, particularly in spaces where we live, work, and learn. At Duro, we are committed to creating safer, healthier environments by ensuring the highest safety standards with our E0-certified products.

Understanding E0 Certification

In an effort to bring health-conscious materials to the forefront of design, Duro has proudly adopted the E0 certification standard, a benchmark for almost negligent formaldehyde emissions from wood products, ensuring better indoor air quality. E0 certification refers to a level of formaldehyde emissions that does not exceed 0.5mg/L, representing one of the industry's lowest and safest thresholds. This certification aligns with international standards that prioritise clean air, reduced pollutants, and the creation of safe spaces for every interior space.

Integrating E0-certified products can significantly reduce exposure to formaldehyde, a common indoor air pollutant often emitted by materials like plywood, particleboard and blockboard. Minimising these emission levels translates to healthier air quality, which is particularly important in high-traffic, enclosed, or long-term-use areas.

The Importance of E0-Certified Products

The advantages of E0-certified materials extend beyond compliance—they represent a forward-thinking approach to indoor air quality and sustainability. Key benefits include:

  • Reduced VOC Emissions: E0 certified nDuro products offer the lowest possible levels of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), promoting cleaner air and reducing the risk of respiratory issues and other health concerns for occupants, especially senior citizens and young children.
  • Ideal for Sensitive Spaces: In areas such as homes, schools, healthcare facilities, and offices, where air quality directly affects well-being, E0-certified materials make a tangible difference.
  • Sustainability Focused: Materials with low formaldehyde emissions align with eco-friendly building practices by reducing indoor pollutants and complying with stringent air quality standards. These materials enable projects to minimise the ecological impact of construction, fostering safer and more habitable spaces.

Duro’s Dedication to Health and Quality

Choosing Duro is about selecting more than just a product—it’s a commitment to safety, sustainability, and lasting quality. Duro’s E0-certified materials not only adhere to international standards but are crafted with a focus on the health and comfort of end-users.

At Duro, we believe in building spaces that combine durability with responsibility. From material selection to installation, our products embody advanced engineering and sustainable practices, ensuring your projects contribute to a healthier, more sustainable tomorrow.
