Adopting SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) allows organizations to scale Agile practices across teams, enabling synchronized delivery and faster time-to-market. A Lean mindset ensures efficiency by focusing on value-driven outcomes, eliminating waste, and aligning with customer needs. High level activities overview are mentioned below that act as a pole star for the Agile practise:

Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)

QBRs are crucial to aligning squads with strategic business goals. For luxury automotive, QBRs ensure squads are focused on delivering features that enhance user experience, quality, and brand value.

Tips: Use QBRs to review squad outcomes, discuss roadblocks, and reprioritize initiatives based on business needs.

Product Increment (PI) Planning

PI Planning is the backbone of SAFe and a crucial ceremony for aligning squads with organizational goals. In the luxury automotive industry, where deadlines are tied to design gateways and product launches, ensuring seamless PI Planning is essential.

Tips:

Pre-PI Preparation Ensure all squads are ready with their inputs, including backlog items, dependencies, and team availability. Cross-Functional Alignment Bring in key stakeholders, including external vendors and internal departments like design, engineering, and marketing, to ensure alignment.
