Saez TLS65 Delivered!

Saez TLS65 Delivered!

On Monday Seattle Tower Crane and Creative Lifting delivered a Saez TLS65B 10T to the Proctor project in Tacoma.

The crane went up without a hitch and no corrections were needed. It was a great first experience with the TLS 65. We had a few learning curves that added a little bit of time to the crane erect. But in the end, this will commonly be a crane that will take us 6.5 hours to erect. I fully expect that on most days we'll reeve the ropes the same day on straight time once we get all of the tricks dialed in.

The TLS65 is capable of 213' of reach. This one is set up with 197' of reach. Out to 57' it can hoist 22,000 lbs. At the tip it's good for 5181 lbs. It's a capable wood frame crane at this radius. Got a job that only needs 147' of reach? It's capable of taking 2 yards of concrete near the tip without the cost of a 300 meter ton crane. It's responsive in every way. The Saez operators so far are saying these are the smoothest cranes they have ever ran.

There are a number of ways these cranes keep the costs down as well. We had 167' of jib on one truck. The anchors come as a framed unit that weighs just 2,000 lbs. We set them with a 6,000 lb forklift. No more need for a large mobile crane and a street use permit to set a crane base. Setting this base literally was a one man show that took me 25 minutes.

If you are in the need for a shiny new crane on your project that saves you money with less contract writing, we are here for you.
