The sad truth about regret.

The sad truth about regret.

Did you know we tend to regret more the things we DIDN’T do than the things we DID do??

After interviewing thousands of people on their deathbed…?

Multiple studies show that one of the main regrets people have before dying is:?

“I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself”.

Can you imagine what that must feel like? Waking up when it’s already too late.

Realizing that you didn’t have the courage to live your best life.

That you gave into your fears and never took action.?

It’s your fears that are holding you back from living a life true to yourself.

It’s your fears of failure, rejection, judgment, embarrassment that are holding you back from applying for that job, learning that language, starting that business, moving to that country.

And it’s not doing anything about them that will lead you to have the most regrets.?

Because one of our biggest adversaries in life is Self-doubt.?

And if you don’t know how to overcome it, you will continue to remain stagnant.?

You will never do things scared.?

And you will never live a life true to yourself. That’s the sad truth.

So you can continue to kid yourself, believing that all is great, staying in your comfort zone but knowing deep down that you have a bigger game to play.

Or you can take action now and start living up to your full potential.

So that when you’re on your deathbed, you’ll know that you gave it your all.?

Because that’s what living life is all about.?

This week I’m looking for 1 more person to join my VIP coaching program. If you’re ready to finally break free from the shackles of Self-doubt and start living a life true to yourself:

Send me a DM with the word “READY”.

Much love,

Alex

Quote of the week: “I don't regret anything I've ever done in life, any choice that I've made. But I'm consumed with regret for the things I didn't do, the choices I didn't make, the things I didn't say. We spend so much time being afraid of failure, afraid of rejection. But regret is the thing we should fear most.” - Trevor Noah

100% true, I remember reading about these stats once, and this concept has stuck in my mind ever since. I really want to live my life to the fullest so I have very few such regrets on my deathbed. And I want to love others as much as I can, so I never have to regret having treating others badly.
