A sad night for me and many others this evening watching the fireworks, in memory of the loss of one of our students ....

A year ago , we tragically and unexpectedly lost one of our students..... I was just one member of staff who had been working with her and her loss shook the core of the community of our school for other staff, students and their parents. She was such a beautiful young girl on the inside and out and her smile would light up a room.

Her favorite colour was red and she loved the Katy Perry song ' like a firework' and her parents asked for her to be remembered on the 5th November watching the fireworks.

I am most certainly thinking of her and all of her family and friends........

I am also thinking of all the professionals who work passionately and tirelessly with people in supporting the most tragic of circumstances.

Take some time out tonight to tell your loved ones just how much they mean to you. I know that I shall be speaking very shortly with my son and doing just that ...........

Thinking of you Annabelle ...........

What a lovely post Julie - it's clear that CTTC genuinely care for their students. Such a sad loss and you're right - life is so busy and we need to let our loved ones know that they are our world and the reason we work so hard
