The Sabbath For Jews & Gentiles
Yvonne C. Freeman
I'm a Bible Christian. An author, poet and song writer posting poetry from my books inspired by the written word of God
"Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;" - Isaiah 56:6
The Sabbath is not just for Israelites black, brown and people of various shades of gold. Saturday the 7th day is for all of God's children no matter their nation, language or color. Whosoever love the Lord and obey all of his laws and statuses will be adopted into the God family. "If ye love me, keep my commandments." - John 14:15
To know him is to love him. To love him you must first read your bible to learn all about him. Jesus, Moses and the prophets taught and read the word of God from the bible every sabbath. God's word need no interpretation if you read what thus said the Lord as it is written.
"Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught." - John 7:14 "For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day." - Acts 15:21 "And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures," - Acts 17:2
I believe every word God had written in the King James Bible. There are several versions of the Bible written from mankind's imagination. When you change a word you can change the meaning of what God intended. God had the prophets who witnessed the miracles of Jesus write it in the bible. "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation." - 2 Peter 1:20
The Holy Bible was written for all of God's children edification. Read the bible for yourself don't believe me or anyone else. Let the bible speak for itself. Don't paraphrase or read between the lines. What you believe or think matters not. Only God can get you into heaven.
"And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath. And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God." - Acts 13:44, 42
The world changes, man changes his mind all the time. Time changes it waits for no man. The Lord change not therefore the Sabbath change not. He said it - believe it. Your salvation is at stake.
"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and forever." - Hebrews 13:8
