Sabbath Day Meanings

"Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the?sabbath?of the?Lord?in all your dwellings." - Leviticus 23:3

Peace, love and joy to all of my Sabbath day families. The many blessings of God comes from obedience. Obeying all of his commandments including God's Sabbath Day brings devotion, tranquility and happiness.

"Ye shall not add unto the?word?which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your?God?which I command you." - Deuteronomy 4:2

As was their custom Moses, Paul and even Jesus taught and read the word of God in the synagogues on the Sabbath day. Why would you deviate from the practices of the holy men of God? You can't just pick and choose what's convenient for you and still expect to receive salvation. It's all or nothing. It's only God's way there can be no other way.

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the?words?of?the prophecy?of?this book, If any man shall add unto these things,?God?shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:" - Revelation 22:18

Don't add or change what God had the prophets write for our edification. Our heavenly Father knows what's best for us. Choose God, believe, trust and have faith in what thus said the Lord.

"Ye shall keep my?sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the?Lord." - Leviticus 19:30
