Learning Excel for data analysis? Sparklines are incredibly effective tools for visualizing patterns and trends Think of them as tiny charts that live inside of a single cell. --> To use them, go to Insert > Sparklines and choose from the Line, Column, and Win/Loss options --> Select the data range that you want to plot (keep in mind that the data in each row will be for a separate sparkline) --> Select the cells where you want the sparklines to live --> Add some optional (and limited) formatting Do you use Sparklines? Learning DAX for Power BI? One of the biggest concepts that can help you unlock more complex DAX patterns was understanding how functions fit together. Adding in functions, like FILTER, to the parameters of CALCULATE is one of the first times he realized that a function could be added to another that produced a virtual table for an expression to be evaluated against.
