Sa'al Wadi, Where Hiking and Learning Meet

“A change is as good as a rest.” Nothing resonates with this saying more than when we are learning through new and interesting experiences. To take their learning to the practical level and to illustrate the hallmarks of inquiry-based learning, dear PYP 6 students of MySchool, Oman, have gone on a hiking trip to Sa’al Wadi.?

The trip was in support of a group of amazing inquirers in PYP 6 who have been working on journeys in their efforts to put up a great show in the upcoming PYPX (PYP Exhibition). The great hikers explored the scenic landscape of the area and delved deeper into the glorious Omani cultural heritage.

In so doing, all the great MySchool members actualized the IB Learner Profile attributes as inquirers, risk-takers, and caring individuals. This refreshing experience has left our beloved students with a great hands-on experience adorned with collaboration and cooperation.
