SA - is productivity still posssible?

SA - is productivity still posssible?

Seems the energy supply crisis is deepening - and so is the productivity crisis for a strained SA commercial sector!

We deal with many clients that has delayed production - and inability to plan production stoppages and the suffer resultant losses to input products - especially in the process environment!

Losess as a result of load shedding is evident:

Production losses - when machinery stops as a result of load shed - and resulting in losses of all the product in process that often has to be discarded. This is complicated when Eskom doesn't stick to the schedule making planing impossible - and often leading to surprise stoppage - and booking of overtime staff that sits idle as a result of unplanned load shed.

Contract penalties and client loss - that result from inability to deliver as a result of production failure - which leads to either non delivery penalties - or entire loss of the customer!

Equipment loss - as a result of consistent power sheds - that is leading to major costs for industry.

Opportunity loss - as a result of lost communication - inability to scale production - delayed deliveries and performance timelines.

Increased cost - as a result of generation to back up - leading to vast expenses -that for retail chain companies has proved to be in the millions.

These are just some of the headackes we regularly encounter. The solution is to move to self generation as well as other self sufficiencies in communication etc.

We finance energy expansion and self generation projects - and help create solutions using our access to specialised skill through the SAAEA and other leading entities

The fact is that to wait for a government and Eskom driven solution is futile - our customers see improvements in cost savings - increased production as well as competitive advantage! Probaly why we were named most trusted consultancy - Gauteng in 2022 by Wealth and Finance International.
