SA is open for business!

The South Australia state nomination program has reopened for the new financial year!

Migrants in Australia who want to apply for state nomination are now invited to submit a Registration of Interest (ROI) to be considered under one of the application streams, as follows:

  • Skilled Employment in South Australia – for applicants who have lived and worked in SA for at least the last12 months, in a full-time role related to their nominated occupation.
  • South Australian Graduates – for applicants who completed at least 75% of their qualification in SA, have lived there for at least 12 months while studying, have been living in SA for at least the last 6 months and have 6 months of full-time work experience in a role related to their nominated occupation.
  • Outer Regional Skilled Employment – for applicants who have lived and worked in ‘outer regional’ SA (defined by postcode) for at least the last 9 months, in a full-time role related to their nominated occupation.

?Offshore applicants will be selected via their Expression of Interest (EOI) applications lodged with SkillsSelect. There is no need for a ROI for this cohort.

?All applicants must ensure they have an occupation on South Australia’s skilled occupation list.

?South Australia advises that offshore invitation rounds will occur regularly throughout the program year, commencing at program opening and then at the end of each month from September 2024.?
