Gross Strategy, Complete ?
On the 23rd of January 2024, S2S Group’s management team got together to run through, discuss, and complete the businesses' 3-year Gross Strategy Plan ??
Seeing the team unite to review S2S Group's past accomplishments, exchange perspectives, and talk about the strategies to achieve business targets has been truly inspiring. Despite the stormy weather, the team managed to unwind, enjoy themselves, and embark on a cross-country hike guided by CEO, Grant Barton!?
S2S Group Celebrates Real Living Wage Anniversary ??
On 19th January 2023, S2S Group?became a Real Living Wage employer ??
What does this mean?
S2S Group’s employees are now earning a wage they can live on. Making a positive impact on their lives inside and outside of work, driving motivation, and leaving them with fewer money worries.
The Real Living Wage is the only rate calculated according to living costs. It provides a voluntary benchmark for employers that wish to ensure their staff earns a wage they can live on, not just the government minimum.

Careers at S2S Group ??
On Wednesday 17th January, S2S Group’s HR Manager, Faye Barton Fowler CIPD?and Marketing Assistant,?Ruby Parker attended the Sheffield Wednesday FC Community Programme careers fair within their Youth Hub (Hillsborough Stadium).
This event was tailored for individuals aged 18 to 24. Within the last 18 months, S2S Group has successfully supported 4 apprentices, which has seen them kickstart their careers, both in technical and marketing services!

S2S Group’s Internal Recycling Programme ??
Since January 2023 S2S Group has implemented an Internal Recycling Programme. This programme consists of monitoring our internal waste and measuring what percentage of it gets sent to secondary recyclers and landfills, and how much C02 we have saved from doing this.
?
Due to the significant growth of the business, the focus on internal waste production has only sharpened. To counter this rise in waste the Internal Recycling Programme was set up to reduce the volume produced. In addition to total waste and greater waste sorting, in order to engage staff S2S Group regularly reports on the progress made and the overall benefits of the programme.
