S2S Group take a trip to North Yorkshire ??
As part of S2S Group 's ongoing support for the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT),?S2S Group sent a team up to Snaizeholme in North Yorkshire to help clear plastic pollution as part of the trusts, 'Plastic Free Woodlands' project. Initially planted as a commercial Christmas Tree Forest, the woodland is now home to a number of species including the endangered (and very cute) red squirrel.
S2S Group would like to thank the trust for the opportunity and?Richard Hore?&?Mike Appleton for organising the day. Also, a big thank you to S2S Group's very own Liam W, Liam H, Gareth, Keeley, and?Nathan for taking part ??
We're looking forward to the next event and wish to continue supporting such a great organisation.
S2S Group's Ongoing Support to YWCA Yorkshire ?
Not only does?S2S Group?inspire to make a positive impact on our environment, but it is also dedicated to supporting the well-being of the community too ?
YWCA Yorkshire is one of S2S Group's chosen charities for 2023. Last year S2S Group included YWCA as part of their 3-month foodbank donation campaign, donated Christmas presents to the families at their Green Gables site and donated 10 mobile phones to the staff members at YWCA. Donating mobile phones has massively improved the communication between their teams and different sites.
On the 29th June S2S Group's Marketing Assistant? Ruby Parker and Marketing Apprentice? Kyle Walton paid YWCA's Green Gables staff members a visit to donate 6 monitor screens and discuss upcoming projects that S2S Group can support them with.
The donation goes a little way to support the work done by staff at the Association. S2S Group is keen to offer practical assistance to charitable organisations where possible, including the provision of IT equipment.
A massive thank you to Janine at YWCA for showing Ruby and Kyle around the site and discussing upcoming projects.
2023 Charity Golf Day Event ?
S2S Group is co-hosting with IMH Recruitment a Charity Golf Day Event in favour of Paces ! ???? ???♀?
?
Paces is a specialist centre, charity and school based in South Yorkshire set out to support children and adults with Cerebral Palsy and motor disorders, offering special, life-changing skills through Conductive Education in a fun environment.?
?
The event will take place on Friday 6th October 2023 at 1:00 pm with a shotgun start. There will be food and refreshments provided throughout the day and a whopping ï¿¡2,000 worth of prizes up for grabs!

Audits, Audits, Audits ??
S2S Group has recently been audited by the Environment Agency (EA)and is happy to announce we are fully compliant with our AATF Approval ?
?
S2S Group has also recently been audited for its ISO 9001, 14001 & 27001 certifications as well as its H&S compliance. Although still awaiting the official report, initial feedback was very encouraging, and the company is confident of a positive result.
?
S2S Group takes all its accreditations and audits seriously because we understand the importance of validating the promises we make about our company and let others clearly see the values and commitments we have to our employees and customers.

S2S Group’s Internal Recycling Programme ??
Since January 2023, S2S Group has implemented an Internal Recycling Programme. The programme is intended to monitor internal waste and then measure a percentage sent to secondard recyclers and landfill. This then results in a calculation of C02 we have saved from doing this.
?
The idea for the programme originated from the increase in internal waste due to the rapid expansion of the business and staff numbers. To maintain its commitment to sustainability, the programme was set up to reduce waste and carbon emissions. An added benefit of this programme is that it accurately reports on where waste is produced, and the positive environmental impact internal recycling has.?
