The S2.1 Smart battery, launched during the Auto Expo 2023, is built to be recyclable, ensuring that the production of our Smart battery is always sustainable – both environmentally and economically.

The batteries are put together in a state-of-the-art assembly line, by a team of highly trained technicians, using materials that are recyclable. Every possible care is taken to ensure complete accuracy in the quality of the product at every stage of the assembly process, in a safe, clean, and controlled environment.

Once assembled, the Smart batteries go through several tests to ensure each product is safe and secure and perform as intended. Each battery is designed to be future-proof, reliable, and always connected. Tests based on weather resistance, ‘drop and shock’ resistance, security and safety are a few among the detailed and stringent stages of scrutiny each battery goes through.

When it comes to connectivity and being future-ready, the S2.1 redefines ‘Smart’. One of the most important aspects of the S2.1 battery is that it comes with new and improved intelligent features. It is always connected to the cloud, comes with an enhanced capacity of 2.1 kWh, ensures the fastest swaps, and is the epitome of safety and security.

Once the battery has undergone the required 450 safety and performance tests, it is then registered with the SUN Mobility Smart Network, to ensure complete connectivity and monitoring for battery health and safety. This enables our Central Command and Control Centre to closely monitor the health, performance, and location of all our Smart batteries across the globe.

Once each battery’s telematics and onboard computers are thoroughly tested to ensure accuracy and performance, it is ready to be deployed.

The S2.1 was born out of our intent to continuously improve our products with enhanced capabilities while ensuring they are future-proof, sustainable, and most importantly - safe for everyone to use.
