S01 E01: Jab we Met at Kala Ghoda

Season 1 | Episode 1 _______________________________________________________

With the loud music on, Hyundai i20 (Car) was moving towards Kala Ghoda Festival (Popular art festival in Mumbai) from BKC (a place in Mumbai). "I was five and he was six, We rode on horses made of sticks, He wore black and I wore white, He would always win the fight, Bang bang, he shot me down ......." David Guetta all over the woofer were blasting out the sound, cracking the windows of so called BKC Business Buildings. Arjun - young dynamic corporate 6 ft tall guy wearing white shirt tucked in blue denim jeans with the shades on managing the car on the fast lane at 100 km per hour speed. His full grown beard, dark brown eyes and contagious smile were his weapons to kill down any lady. Accompanying him in the next front seat is his good friend Rakesh - a street smart sales person who can talk to any unknown person in this world for hours and hours, even at a traffic signal he could very easily befriend a beggar. Enjoying David Guetta's music at the backseat is a very good friend of Arjun, Sonal aka Sonu who is very smart, intelligent, no nonsense women, recently she ran for 5 kms, chased a molester, kicked his ass, pinned him down and got him arrested. For her bravery she got a pat on the back as well as popularity by the leading newspapers, being on 3rd page of Times of India is not a joke. "He wore black and I wore white, He would always win the fight, Bang bang, he shot me down" with full bass on, Arjun and friends reached Kala Ghoda Festival.

Over an hour in the line, just to enter the festival, having vada pav (Indian Burger) in our hands, they were waiting for the endless line to end. With the mesmerizing art installations, art stalls, overflowing crowd, with endless selfies of Sonal with pouts, funny faces, with all the face packs and filters applied to the camera the day has come to an end, they were too exhausted for the drive back. All 3 friends stayed in same area which was just 30 kms away from Kala Ghoda Festival which was like 3 hours drive back with all the traffic in slow motion on. All back in the car moving in slow motion at 5 km per hour, they could have done jogging and reached home faster in this massive traffic.

"Tu cheese badi hai mast mast, tu cheese badi hai mast mast" Rakesh's phone rang insanely muting up the bass of the woofer. Oh here is his client - Surbhi Singh, she got to know Rakesh is in the same vicinity by technology - Facebook GPS System. She asked him to meet up for a quick hello. Asking him to meet up in next 5 mins at Mc Donalds near the railway station from where she was suppose to catch a train towards her home.

Remember Massive Slow Motion Traffic - Rakesh was too impatient to meet her, every second was like Simran wont be able to catch hold of Raj's hand. Arjun helped him like Amrish Puri , he slowed down the car from 5 km per hour to 0 km in this massive traffic and suggested him to run for so called Surbhi aka Simran. Rakesh followed the instructions, he started jogging towards his goals. Yes he managed to reach Surbhi within 5 mins in his transformed denim track pants and kick started the conversation.

All this while, Arjun was feeling like a driver to Sonal since she was seated backseat. It took almost 20 mins for Arjun to reach Mc. Donalds where Rakesh and Surbhi were engrossed in their talks. Arjun and Sonal walked towards them, Rakesh introduced Surbhi to Arjun and Sonal. Minutes later, Sonal and Surbhi were like sisters from another mothers. Rakesh and Arjun were simply watching these ladies like how guys watch an interesting India Pakistan Match with utter silence. But topics between the ladies were ranging from dresses to guys to kala ghoda festival shopping and much more. Minutes passed by ...every minute was like an hour for the guys.

But in mid of all this Arjun was totally balled over by Surbhi Singh, she a 5.8 ft tall 25 year old girl, curly hairs, dimples on her cheeks, cute smile, wearing a long skirt and traditional top. She was a mix of Kareena and Neha Kakkar in Arjun's Mind. Without saying a single word - there was tons of words exchanged between them. Might Arjun's smile have worked on her.

Time to say bye, Arjun casually asked Surbhi if he can drop her home, for which she denied in very subtle manner. With all the bye greetings Surbhi moved towards railway station and all 3 friends towards the car. Something broke inside Arjun while saying bye to Surbhi, he was disheartened. With heavy heart he started his journey with Rakesh and Sonal back home.

Ting Ting Ting Ting ... messages flowing on Whats app, Surbhi messaged Rakesh to form a group of all 4 of them on Whats App Messenger. Rakesh was surprised to know how Surbhi got so gelled in with his friends in an hour time and wanted to create a Whats app group. Quickly all 4 were added in the Whats App Group. Surbhi Added, Rakesh Added, Sonal Added and finally Arjun Added ..... heavy heart of Arjun is switched on to the smile mode.

Arjun was so excited, while driving he was replying to the messages on the group chat. All the while, till mid night the messages on the group were flowing. Finally, all settled for bye, sweet dreams, good night, zzzzzzzzzz at 10.00 pm on the group messenger.

While Arjun was about to sleep, Ting - at 11.45 pm in the night, Surbhi had messaged him on personal chat "Hi". Checking the message he simply realized that it's a 14th Feb and just 15 mins left for it to get over

Arjun replied to Surbhi "..................... ________________________________________________________
