Ryde-Epping Developments to Shape Sydney's North in 2021

New developments to benefit the community in so many ways –

 

Midtown MacPark Midtown MacPark will cover 8.2-hectares and feature 3,300 apartments, an aged care facility and even a new primary school. Will be home to 6,500 people


Meadowbank Employment & Education Precinct – The Meadowbank Education and Employment Precinct will welcome more than 2,500 students from relocated schools, Meadowbank Public and Marsden High School, and 120 students at an Intensive English Centre once complete. In addition, It will also feature the state’s first digital TAFE NSW campus aimed at training students for future jobs and connecting them with local industries. Known as the Multi-Trades and Digital Technology Hub, it will comprise of a six-storey education building and a three-level carpark with 241 car park spaces. Cybersecurity training and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies and simulated learning experiences will be part of the campus’s state-of-the-art offerings (Snowden Parkes are directly involved in this project)


Dence Park Masterplan and Epping Pool revamp More than $22m has been earmarked for the long-awaited redevelopment of Epping pool and Dence Park. Plans include the staged redevelopment of Epping Pool followed by a proposed new playground, picnic facilities and recreation spaces at the five-hectare site.


Meriton’s ‘Destination’ towers (Talavera Rd, Macquarie Park) One of the towers proposed in the mega $327 million Macquarie Park ‘Destination’ development will be 63 storeys high with more than 1,000 units.

Another 27-storey building will accommodate more than 200 residential apartments.


Macquarie Shopping Centre revamped  Upgrades

 

Ryde Central A $110m revamp of Ryde Civic Centre will feature a new public plaza, retail precinct, new art gallery and 700-person performance hall.

 

School upgrades Kent Rd, Eastwood Public, Epping West, Denistone East

 

Uniting’s seniors living tower A 16-storey senior living tower by aged care provider Uniting will soon be going up after it was approved by the local planning panel.

 

Rowe Street carpark 146 spaces on Eastwood’s bustling Rowe Street.
