"We need to evolve and elevate our consciousness to access our unique superpowers instead of relying on one-dimensional thinking taught in education and organizations." - John Sanei
Around 200 years ago, our ancestors were learning to adapt to the?Industrial Revolution . This period of time saw advancements such as:
But these advancements took place over a period of 100+ years!
Contrast that with what has changed with?AI ?in just the last 100 days, and you quickly understand what Ray Kurzweil describes as the?Law of Accelerating Returns . In short, it means that things will continue to grow exponentially faster as underlying technology advances.?
Make no mistake. Things have never changed as quickly as they are today, and things will never change as slowly in the future as they are today.
Just as our ancestors evolved over time, we must do the same… but in significantly shorter intervals to keep pace with our rapidly changing world. This requires us to further develop our heightened awareness and adaptability skills.
But what exactly does that mean, and how does it relate to preparing for the future??
This is precisely why we had expert futurist,?John Sanei , join us on?Geeks Geezers Googlization ?back in February so we could make sense of it all.
Let's break it down. ??
John argues that all physical, emotional, and mental challenges are linked to frequency. The idea, he says, is that when we’re at a certain frequency, our energy is aligned with certain quantum fields, which can either support or inhibit our well-being. This may sound like pseudoscience, but there is actually some?scientific basis ?to it: studies have shown that brainwaves can be measured in hertz (Hz), and different states of consciousness are associated with different frequencies, from the high-frequency beta waves of alertness to the low-frequency delta waves of deep sleep.
So how can we change our frequency to improve our health and happiness now and in the future??
It all starts with increasing our brain's malleability, or neuroplasticity, through practices like meditation. When we meditate, we activate the brain's?default mode network ?(DMN), which is responsible for self-reflection and introspection. This, in turn, can lead to a change in frequency as our brains become more adaptable and receptive to new experiences.
But the science of brain frequency isn’t just about individual well-being. At scale, these collective frequencies may also help explain broader societal issues like economic cycles, political systems, and technological advancement.

And this is where AI comes in.?
As we've seen in recent years (and particularly over the past 6 months with open source GPT-4), AI has the potential to disrupt and transform our world in ways that we can barely imagine. But it's not something to be feared. Rather, it's a tool to be embraced and worked with to unlock solutions to problems we’ve not yet been able to solve on our own.
To prepare for the future of AI, John suggests that we need to prioritize AQ (adaptability intelligence) over IQ (our analytical intelligence) and EQ (our emotional intelligence).?AQ ?refers to our ability to be aware of and adapt to new situations, to think creatively and imaginatively, and to apply ourselves differently in a variety of contexts and situations. These are the skills that will be most valuable in the age of AI, when many jobs may be replaced by machines and new opportunities will arise.
One easy way to begin the adaptability journey is by educating ourselves about AI and other emerging technologies, including the creator economy (worth $100 billion and growing) and web three (which promotes decentralization, transparency, and shared ownership). We should also be open to new experiences such as altered states of consciousness through meditation, which can help us change our brainwaves and upgrade our hardware for the age of AI.
Interestingly, the future of medicine may indeed be?frequency ?(aka, bio resonance) as Albert Einstein famously predicted so many years ago. But it's not just about medicine – it's about our entire way of living and working in a rapidly changing world. By doing so, we can upgrade our human software and hardware to prepare ourselves, and our society, for a bold new future that is full of new solutions and opportunities!
Here’s a little more about?John Sanei ?and why you should follow him before you check out his episode below:
John Sanei grew up with the desire to be successful and financially secure. He worked hard and by the age of 25, he had achieved his goals, owning multiple businesses and enjoying the trappings of money. However, at 31, he went bankrupt, leading him to delve deep into his psyche and psychology. Sanei realized that he had a unique skill of deciphering the future and combining it with his knowledge of human psychology and neuroscience. He believes that this combination is pivotal in preparing for the future, which requires us to adapt to the incredible amount of disruption and uncertainty that lies ahead. Despite never going to university and barely passing high school, Sanei has lectured at 14 universities worldwide, sharing his self-taught and intuitive knowledge with others.
