Russian test results of Raritan KVM-over-IP for broadcasting and control rooms

IXBT is a very experienced and highly esteemed test platform on internet. A lot of Russian speaking technicians consider it a trustworthy source of information. The test team at IXBT was willing to put some serious effort in exploring the 4th and latest generation of KVM-over-IP products from Raritan: Dominion KX IV 101 and the Dominion KX IV User Station. This recent product release was given the March 2020 Original Design editorial award by IXBT, of which the Raritan engineering team can definitely be proud.

Even though the test is published in Russian (Google is your friend, so don't hesitate to use Google translate), a lot of the IP video sessions (remote access over LAN) were recorded and are available on the IXBT test result page, just like many photos and screen shots of both products.

To make it easier and hopefully tease you a bit, I hereby show you their final conclusion:

"DKX4-101 and the user station DKX4-UST are an evolutionary continuation of the previously tested DKX3 series of products. Modifications consist mainly of adding support for new hardare standards: USB 3.1 and UHD / 4K video resolution (3840 x 2160).

Support is implemented quite correctly: our tests confirm its performance. Otherwise, the Raritan solutions for KVM-over-IP have retained all their usual qualities: high functionality, understandability and ease of installation, quick deployment. For the quality and simplicity of the solutions, as well as the well-timed support of modern technologies in the field of high-speed transmision of dynamic images, we award the KVM over IP Raritan Dominion KX4-101 and the user station Raritan Dominion KX4-UST the editorial award "Original Design".
