Russian Plane Catches Fire on Landing in Turkey

??A Russian passenger plane caught fire upon landing at Antalya Airport in southern Turkey on November 24th, forcing the evacuation of all 90 passengers and crew members.

??The Sukhoi Superjet-100, operated by Azimuth Airlines, was arriving from the Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi when one of its engines ignited. Despite the dramatic incident, there were no reported injuries.

??Turkish aviation authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire, while Russian aviation agency Rosaviatsiya has also opened its own inquiry. Antalya Airport was temporarily closed for several hours following the incident.
