I want to start reflecting on my reading and share my takeaways with you in case you find something interesting to implement into practice.
1. Embrace new challenges
Iger talked about pushing yourself out of your comfort zone, which allows for growth opportunities and development.
2. Prioritize relationships
Having meaningful connections is important and can lead to success, but you have to invest time and effort into cultivating that.
3. Focus on quality
Iger keeps high standards and he has inspired me to continue asking myself how I can keep improving and raising the bar.
4. Learn from failure
During my six years in business, some of my best learning opportunities have been from failures. He pushes to use failures as valuable lessons and steppingstones to move towards success.
5. Authenticity and integrity
The more we can be ourselves, the easier it is to build relationships built on solid ground. I try my best to make sure that I am being authentic and appreciate this point from the book.
Thanks for taking the time to read this! It was my first attempt and I hope to continue to do this as I read more books.
Let me know what you think about these points.
